A Christian organisation working in around 35 countries on fours continents. BMS personnel are mainly involved in church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, media and advocacy. Tim works with BMS in training their teams and they are responsible for organising his first trip overseas, to Uganda.
An international movement of individuals, communities and organisations fighting to prevent human trafficking around the world. This is currently the fastest growing crime with many millions of people being bought and sold into forced labour on our doorsteps as well as globally. Tim was involved in partnering with Stop the Traffik with his song writing.
WaterAid is an international charity that transforms lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation. Tim was first involved supporting Water Aid at the age of eight when he did a sponsored fast with his brothers to raise money for the organisation. Diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation kill more children every year than AIDS, malaria and measles combined.
A creative arts company seeking to inspire all generations through theatre, media and interactive learning. Tim has worked with Saltmine on various occasions. One of these involved writing some songs for their play, “Love Struck” and touring with them. Saltmine aim to use the power of story to spark faith, hope and purpose and make a difference for good.
Working with a wide network of organisations, Amos seeks to promote human rights and nurture local responses to situations of injustice. One of the big focuses of Amos is to act as peacemakers in Israel and Palestine and create dialogue. Tim met the Amos Trust during his trip to the Middle East and built a house on the West Bank with them.
Christians Against Poverty is a charity committed to helping people get out of financial debt or establish good money management strategies, providing training and support in partnership with local churches. Money is an awkward subject for some people and CAP do some great work transforming the lives of people who live in fear and hopelessness because of debt.
